TANIA CESARINI was born in Biel, Switzerland and she is now based in Marche, Italy. In 1999, she graduated in Set Design from the Academy of Fine Art of Macerata with full marks and started working in theatre as a scenographer, make-up artist, as well as costumes and masks designer.

From 2003 till 2018, she has been working for a worldwide known luxury fashion brand. The expertise acquired in her 15 years career in the luxury fashion industry involves Visual Communication, Exhibition design, Windows Display, and Set and Prop Design.

Among her achievements, many of her projects have also been featured on American, Asian, and European important websites and print media.

Thanks to the experience matured in an international company, leading the entire lifecycle of a project from the idea to the implementation, Tania has found her own strategy combing art styles and techniques with new methods and technologies of visual communication.

Since 2015, she has been collaborating with several creative agencies as a consultant, designer, and manager of projects and initiatives.

More recently, she has decided to take one more step in her professional path to invest in a more sustainable and conscious future, starting from her place of origin and its natural landscape.

Since 2018, Tania has been leading a project supported by a solid network of partners, aiming at enhancing the economy and awareness of the mountain area of Acquasanta Terme (affected by the 2016-17 earthquake) while empowering the local communities, actively involved in the cultural initiatives.

Currently and through new collaborations, Tania is exploring immersive environments, augmented reality, interaction design, and digital installations, from her “office in the nature”, located in a small village surrounded by the forest and yet at a short distance from the city.

Last but not least, Tania is the founder of Atelier 10 48, a design brand crafting interior objects and contemporary furniture, inspired by a phenomenological approach to the formal elements of the composition and its materials. Atelier 10 48 is also an artist residency program welcoming artists interested in making the Apennines their lab and source of ideas.
